Glück hat man nie genug! Als Geschenk ist dieser Topflappen in Doubleface-Technik ein Glückwunsch der anderen Art. Die Motive dieser Topflappen sind mehrere kleine Kleeblätter und ein großes (nicht ganz zu sehendes) Kleeblatt.
Wenn Sie gerne handarbeiten und auch mal eine neue Technik ausprobieren wollen, ist diese Anleitung genau richtig für Sie. Die Doubleface-Technik ist nicht schwer zu erlernen, bietet aber die Möglichkeit wirklich individuelle Topflappen zu erstellen. Ob für sich selbst oder als Geschenk für einen lieben Menschen, bleibt jedem selbst überlassen.
Das besondere an diesen Topflappen ist, dass man zwei komplett unterschiedliche Seiten für einen Topflappen gestalten kann. Durch die Technik werden die Topflappen auch schön dick und somit hervorragend isolierend. Gleichzeitig spart man sich – bis auf den Abschluss - das Vernähen der Fäden, da diese direkt in den Topflappen eingearbeitet werden.
Mit diesem Download erhalten Sie eine ausführliche, 15-seitige PDF-Datei mit der Beschreibung und Fotos der Technik in deutsch. Die Beschreibung enthält außerdem grafische Zähl-Vorlagen und Color-Block-Angaben für jede Reihe der einzelnen Motive.Zusätzlich wird eine Anleitung der Grundtechnik mit vergrößerten Fotos zur Verfügung gestellt. Darin findet man auch einen Link zu einem Video-Tutorial mit der Grundtechnik des Doubleface-Häkelns.
Es werden Grundkenntnisse im Häkeln (Luftmasche, feste Masche, Kettmasche) vorausgesetzt. Kenntnisse der Doubleface-Technik sind nicht nötig, diese wird in der Anleitung ausführlich erläutert.

An Material benötigen Sie ca. 4 Knäul Wolle in zwei Farben (z. B. Schachenmayr Catania oder vergleichbare Qualität) sowie eine zur Dicke der Wolle passende Häkelnadel.

Tutorial doubleface potholders „lucky clover“
You can never have enough happiness! As a gift, this double-faced potholder is a different kind of congratulations. The motifs on this potholder are several small shamrocks and one large (not quite visible) shamrock. They can be combined in any way you like.
The potholders are crocheted in double face technique so you can crochet different motifs on both sides and they are nice and thick and therefore very insulating. At the same time, you save on sewing the threads - except for the finish - as they are worked directly into the potholder.
If you like needlework and also want to try a new technique, this tutorial is for you. The doubleface technique is not difficult to learn, but offers the possibility to create truly individual potholders. Whether for yourself or as a gift for a loved one is up to you.
Basic knowledge in crochet (chain stitch, single crochet, slip stitch) is required. Knowledge of the doubleface technique is not required. The technique is explained in detail in the instructions. If you are using this technique for the first time, you should first crochet a small test piece according to the instructions in order to grasp the principle. After that, implementation is not difficult anymore. The main difficulty with these potholders is that two colors are used in the first row.
With this download you will receive a detailed, 15-page PDF file with the description and photos of the technique in German and English (US terminology). The description contains the graphic counting templates and colored number blocks for each row. In addition, instructions of the basic technique of doubleface crochet with enlarged photos and a video tutorial are provided.

For a pair of pot holders you need about 4 balls of wool in two colors (e.g. Schachenmayr Catania or comparable quality: 100 % cotton, length 125 m per 50 g) and a crochet hook suitable for the thickness of the wool. For even color distribution, you will need 2 balls of wool in each of two colors. If both potholders are crocheted with the same main color, you will need 2 to 3 balls in the main color and 1 ball for the motifs.
