Wie heißt es so schön: Schokolade ist Glück, das man essen kann! Man kann es aber nicht nur essen, sondern auch häkeln. Mit dieser Anleitung können Sie sich dieses Topflappenset selber häkeln und haben dann Ihr Schokoladenglück stets griffbereit. Ideal für alle, die Schokolade lieben.
Wenn Sie gerne handarbeiten und auch mal eine neue Technik ausprobieren wollen, ist diese Anleitung genau richtig für Sie. Die Doubleface-Technik ist nicht schwer zu erlernen, bietet aber die Möglichkeit wirklich individuelle Topflappen zu erstellen. Ob für sich selbst oder als Geschenk für andere, bleibt jedem selbst überlassen.
Das besondere an diesen Topflappen ist, dass man zwei komplett unterschiedliche Seiten für einen Topflappen gestalten kann. Durch die Technik werden die Topflappen auch schön dick und somit hervorragend isolierend. Gleichzeitig spart man sich – bis auf den Abschluss - das Vernähen der Fäden, da diese direkt in den Topflappen eingearbeitet werden.
Mit diesem Download erhalten Sie eine ausführliche, 19-seitige PDF-Datei mit der Beschreibung und Fotos der Technik sowie den Vorlagen für die gezeigten Topflappen in deutsch. Die Beschreibung enthält außerdem grafische Zähl-Vorlagen und Color-Block-Angaben für jede Reihe der einzelnen Motive. Zusätzlich wird eine Anleitung der Grundtechnik mit vergrößerten Fotos zur Verfügung gestellt. Darin findet man auch einen Link zu einem Video-Tutorial mit der Grundtechnik des Doubleface-Häkelns.
Es werden Kenntnisse und eine gewisse Routine im Häkeln (Luftmasche, feste Masche, Kettmasche) vorausgesetzt. Kenntnisse der Doubleface-Technik sind von Vorteil, aber nicht zwingend nötig. Die Technik wird in der Anleitung ausführlich erläutert. Wer diese Technik zum ersten Mal anwendet, sollte zuerst nach der Anleitung ein kleines Probestück häkeln, um das Prinzip zu erfassen. Diese Topflappen zu häkeln erfordert einige Konzentration und Geduld, da insgesamt 8 Farben zum Einsatz kommen.

An Material benötigen Sie 2 Knäul Wolle in mittelbraun, sowie Restbestände oder je 1 Knäul in hellbraun (Zimt), dunkelbraun, hellgrau, dunkelgrau, zwei zueinander passenden Grüntönen und Schwarz (z. B. Schachenmayr Catania oder vergleichbare Qualität) sowie eine zur Dicke der Wolle passende Häkelnadel.

If you like needlework and want to try a new technique, this tutorial is for you. The doubleface technique is not difficult to learn, but offers the possibility to create really individual potholders. Whether for yourself or as a gift for others is up to you.
The special thing about these potholders is that you can create two completely different sides for one potholder. The technique also makes the potholders nice and thick and therefore insulating excellently. At the same time, you save on sewing the threads - except for the finish - as they are worked directly into the potholder.
Knowledge and some routine in crocheting (chain stitch, single stitch, chain stitch) is assumed. Knowledge of the doubleface technique is not required. The technique is explained in detail in the instructions. If you are using this technique for the first time, you should first crochet a small test piece according to the instructions in order to grasp the principle. After that, implementation is not difficult anymore. The difficulty is due to using many colors.
With this download you will receive a detailed, 19-page PDF file with the description and photos of the technique in German and English (US terminology). The description contains the graphic counting templates and colored number blocks for each row. In addition, instructions of the basic technique of doubleface crochet with enlarged photos and a video tutorial are provided.
The finished pot holders have a size of approx. 17,5 cm x 17,5 cm.
You will need 2 skeins of medium brown wool (Marone/maroon), or 1 skein each of light brown (Zimt/marigold), dark brown (Kaffee/chocolate), light gray (Silber/silver), dark gray (Stein/grey), two matching shades of green (Apfel/apple green and Khaki/kiwi) and black (e.g. Schachenmayr Catania or comparable quality) and a crochet hook that matches the thickness of the wool.
